RRB Group D PET admit card 2026 — CEN 08/2024 zone-wise Physical Efficiency Test call letter

The RRB Group D PET Admit Card 2026 is issued zone by zone for candidates shortlisted after the Computer-Based Test under CEN No. 08/2024 (Level-1 posts). Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) activate the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) e-call letter on their own regional portals — there is no single all-India PET hall-ticket day.

Current focus (9 September 2026): Bilaspur (SECR) and Ranchi (SER) PET runs 9–11 September 2026. RRC SER’s notice activated PET e-call letter download on digialm from 30 August 2026 (06:00) through 11 September 2026 (18:00). Download before the window ends; exact batch, reporting time and venue appear only on your PDF. Many earlier zones (Prayagraj, Ajmer, Chennai, Patna, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Mumbai and others) already completed PET in July–early September.

Stage: PET · CEN: 08/2024 · Vacancies (widely reported): ~32,438 · Shortlisted for PET: ~63,295 · Live window: Bilaspur / Ranchi 9–11 Sep 2026 · Other zones: phased / completed / TBA

PET e-call letters are zone-wise. Use only your RRC / official digialm login — Easy Applications does not host admit cards.

Who this guide is for

Use this page if you:

  • Were shortlisted for PET under CEN 08/2024 and need download steps, documents and standards
  • Belong to Bilaspur / Ranchi (PET 9–11 Sep 2026) or need a reprint while your zone login still serves the call letter
  • Want a clear split between CEN 08/2024 PET and CEN 09/2025 CBT news

Do not use this page to:

  • Download a CEN 09/2025 CBT admit card (different cycle)
  • Trust paid “PET seat booking” or WhatsApp venue forwards
  • Assume every zone opens the admit-card link on the same day

Easy Applications is an independent desk — not RRB, RRC or Indian Railways.

What we verified

We point candidates to rrbapply.gov.in, zonal RRC sites, and the SER digialm PET login published in RRC South Eastern Railway’s CEN 08/2024 PET notice (download window 30 Aug – 11 Sep 2026). Bilaspur / Ranchi PET dates 9–11 September 2026 follow that notice and matching education coverage. Vacancy totals for CEN 08/2024 are commonly listed as ~32,438; older trackers sometimes showed 22,195, which matches the CEN 09/2025 cycle — treat official zone PDFs as final if numbers differ.

  • Prefer Chrome/Edge; disable aggressive pop-up blockers for PDF download.

RRB Group D PET Standards 2026 (Typical)

Standards follow the usual Level-1 PET pattern used in recent Group D cycles. Always reconfirm on your zone notice / admit card.

Male candidates

Task Standard (typical)
Weight carry Lift and carry 35 kg for 100 m within 2 minutes, single attempt, without putting weight down
Run 1000 m in 4 minutes 15 seconds
Height (often applied in notice) 165 cm (UR/OBC/SC); 160 cm (ST) — confirm zone PDF
Weight Proportionate to height

Female candidates

Task Standard (typical)
Weight carry 20 kg for 100 m within 2 minutes, one attempt
Run 1000 m in 5 minutes 40 seconds
Height Often 152 cm minimum
Weight Often minimum 45 kg

Order of tests: Weight-carrying task is usually conducted first. Candidates who fail it are eliminated and may not be allowed the run.

PwBD: Generally exempted from PET under RRB rules; follow medical/DV instructions for the category.

Mistakes to avoid

  1. Mixing CEN 08/2024 PET with CEN 09/2025 CBT news and logging into the wrong portal.
  2. Waiting until the morning of PET to download — links can lag or captcha queues can spike.
  3. Using a third-party “download admit card” clone that steals registration credentials.
  4. Carrying the wrong photo ID (different from the one named on the call letter / used at CBT).
  5. Skipping warm-up and footwear — PET is physical; sports shoes matter.
  6. Assuming TBA zones will open on a social-media date — wait for the zonal RRC notice.
  7. Treating PET pass as final selection — DV and medical still decide empanelment.

PET Day Instructions

  • Reach the ground well before reporting time.
  • Follow board officers for queues, footwear, and attempt rules.
  • Do not bring prohibited items listed on the admit card.
  • Keep hydration and warm-up simple; avoid last-minute heavy meals.

What Happens After PET

  1. RRC records PET qualification status (some zones also publish day-wise PET result PDFs).
  2. Shortlisted candidates face document verification.
  3. Medical examination as per railway standards.
  4. Final empanelment / appointment against Level-1 vacancies subject to merit, DV, and medical fitness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the RRB Group D PET admit card 2026 released?

Yes — release is zone-wise under CEN 08/2024. RRC Prayagraj opened first on 18 July 2026. Later zones (including Bilaspur) have also activated PET e-call letters closer to their PET windows. Download only from your zonal RRC / official login — not from third-party clones.

Which CEN is this RRB Group D PET for?

This PET stage is for CEN No. 08/2024 Level-1 Group D. It is a different cycle from CEN 09/2025 (the newer Level-1 drive whose CBT window was in August 2026).

When are the next PET dates?

Bilaspur (SECR) and Ranchi (SER) PET windows run 9–11 September 2026. Your exact reporting date, batch and venue are only on your e-call letter. Earlier zones such as Prayagraj, Ajmer, Chennai, Patna, Bengaluru, Bhopal and Mumbai already held PET in July–early September.

How do I download the RRB Group D PET admit card?

Open the official website of your Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) or the digialm login published in your zone notice. For South Eastern Railway (Ranchi / SER), RRC SER activated PET e-call letter download on digialm (go-live 30 August 2026; download window till 11 September 2026 18:00 hrs). Log in with registration number and password or date of birth, then download and print the PDF.

Where is the SER / Ranchi PET e-call letter link?

RRC South Eastern Railway’s CEN 08/2024 PET notice points candidates to the digialm login https://rrb.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/33015/96410/login.html for e-call letter download during the published go-live window. Always prefer the link printed on the latest RRC SER PDF if it differs.

How many candidates are shortlisted for Group D PET?

About 63,295 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for PET after the CBT under CEN 08/2024. Confirm your individual shortlist status only on the official result / login path for your zone.

How many vacancies are in CEN 08/2024?

Education trackers commonly list about 32,438 Level-1 vacancies for CEN 08/2024. Some older trackers mixed this with the 22,195 figure used for CEN 09/2025 — do not treat vacancy totals as interchangeable across CENs.

What are the male PET standards for RRB Group D?

Typically: carry 35 kg for 100 metres within 2 minutes without putting the weight down, and run 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds. Height norms in notices often list 165 cm for UR/OBC/SC and 160 cm for ST, with weight proportionate to height. Confirm on your zone notice.

What are the female PET standards for RRB Group D?

Typically: carry 20 kg for 100 metres within 2 minutes in one attempt, and run 1000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds. Height often 152 cm with minimum weight around 45 kg as per previous Group D PET rules — verify the official PET notice.

Are PwBD candidates exempt from PET?

PwBD candidates are generally exempted from the Physical Efficiency Test as per RRB Group D rules. They must still follow document verification and medical norms applicable to their category.

Is PET qualifying or marks-based?

PET is a qualifying stage. Candidates who fail the weight-carrying task are usually not allowed to attempt the run. Qualifiers proceed to document verification and medical examination as per the CEN.

My zone link is not open — is that an error?

Not necessarily. PET admit cards are released region-wise. If your RRC has not activated the link, wait for the official SMS/email and notice on the zonal RRC website rather than using third-party portals.

What documents should I carry to the PET ground?

Printed PET admit card, original photo ID as listed on the call letter (often the same ID used at CBT), extra passport photos if asked, and any other document printed in the instructions. Wear sports shoes and light clothing suitable for running and weight tasks.
