How to check application status

  1. Open https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.
  2. Choose Candidate Login (or Aadhaar-based login if offered).
  3. Enter Registration Number and Password / Date of Birth.
  4. Complete captcha / OTP as shown.
  5. Open CEN 09/2025 — Group D / Level 1.
  6. Read Application Status and any remarks.
  7. Screenshot or download the status page for your records.

Login tips: Try another browser if the page stalls; do not mix credentials from an older Group D CEN; confirm the address bar shows rrbapply.gov.in. SMS can lag — trust the login view.

What each status means

Status Meaning Typical next effect
Provisionally Accepted Form cleared this scrutiny stage on declared details Eligible for city slip / admit card stages subject to later DV & medical
Conditionally Accepted / Partially Accepted Accepted with conditions in portal remarks Keep documents ready; clarify issues when RRB asks
Rejected Application not accepted; reason shown in login City slip / CBT hall ticket generally not issued for this cycle

“Accepted” is not a final appointment. Document verification and medical can still fail if originals contradict the form.

After-submit mistakes (and what you can still do)

  1. Aadhaar vs form mismatch (name spelling, DOB) — cannot casually edit after close; carry supporting proofs only if RRB instructions allow at DV.
  2. Unclear photograph / signature — may trigger conditional remarks; keep better prints for later stages.
  3. Wrong category certificate format — update certificate stock for DV; invalid category rejections often cannot be reversed mid-cycle.
  4. Fee failure assumed as success — re-check payment history on login.
  5. Cyber-café mobile / email — if OTP access is lost, use official helpdesk paths with registration proof; avoid paid “unlock” agents.
  6. Multiple applications against CEN rules — extras are often cancelled.
  7. Ignoring Conditionally Accepted remarks — screenshot remarks now.
  8. Sharing password on unofficial “status check” pages — change password on the official portal if exposed.

What you cannot do: reopen the March 2026 apply window, or buy a fresh form for CEN 09/2025 from any agent.

Application status vs city slip vs admit card

Document Portal family Purpose
Application status rrbapply.gov.in Accepted / Conditional / Rejected
City intimation slip Digialm / RRB login Exam city & travel planning
CBT admit card (e-call letter) Digialm Group D login Entry — centre, reporting time, photo, instructions

City slip alone was not valid for hall entry. If status was Rejected, admit-card links will not override rejection.

How e-call letters were downloaded (still useful for reprints)

  1. Open the Group D digialm login.
  2. Enter registration number + DOB/password.
  3. Open Admit Card / e-Call Letter (not only city slip).
  4. Verify name, photo, date, shift, centre.
  5. Download PDF and keep a print + soft copy.

Links often opened a few days before each exam date. After the CBT window, reprint availability depends on whether the login still serves historical call letters.

Common problems and fixes

Problem What to try
Login / captcha fails Another browser; clear cache; confirm rrbapply.gov.in
Wrong CEN opens Select CEN 09/2025 Group D / Level 1 — not an older Group D CEN
Status blank / stuck Retry later; screenshot error; use helpdesk with registration proof
Digialm shows no admit card Rejected applications generally get none; accepted candidates often needed the date-wise link closer to the shift
Confused by CEN 08/2024 PET news That is a different cycle — open the PET page only if you are in CEN 08/2024

Practical checklist (still useful after CBT)

  1. Re-login to rrbapply.gov.in and save a fresh status screenshot with remarks.
  2. If Conditionally Accepted, list every remark and the proof you will show at DV.
  3. If Rejected, record the reason and map fixes for a future Level 1 CEN.
  4. Keep digialm credentials in case e-call letter reprints remain available.
  5. For score / PET / DV, follow only official RRB / rrbapply / regional notices — not social-media rumour dates.

What happens next

Confirm on official RRB releases only:

  • Candidates who appeared in CBT should watch for score / shortlist communications toward PET, then document verification and medical.
  • Rejected-at-application candidates generally wait for a future Group D / Level 1 CEN.
  • Level 1 railway CENs are notified as and when vacancy indents are approved — not on a private fixed annual date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still apply for RRB Group D CEN 09/2025?

No. Online applications ran from 31 January to 9 March 2026 and are closed. This page helps candidates who already applied understand status meanings and what to watch after the August 2026 CBT.

How do I check RRB Group D application status?

Open https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/, log in with your registration number and password / date of birth, open CEN 09/2025 Group D / Level 1, and read whether the form is Provisionally Accepted, Conditionally Accepted, or Rejected. Trust only the official login view.

What does Provisionally Accepted mean?

Your application cleared this scrutiny stage based on the details you submitted. Later stages (score shortlist, PET, document verification, medical) still depend on official RRB notices and verification of originals.

What does Conditionally Accepted mean?

The form is accepted subject to conditions shown in the portal remarks. Screenshot the remarks and keep matching proofs ready for document verification.

If my application is Rejected, will I get an admit card?

Generally no for this cycle. Read the rejection reason, save a screenshot, and use it to avoid the same mistake in a future Level 1 CEN.

Is CEN 09/2025 the same as Group D PET under CEN 08/2024?

No. CEN 08/2024 is a different Group D cycle (often discussed for PET). CEN 09/2025 is the newer Level 1 drive whose CBT window ran 3–21 August 2026.

When was application status released for CEN 09/2025?

Railway Recruitment Boards activated application status viewing from 9 July 2026 on rrbapply.gov.in (Provisionally Accepted / Conditionally Accepted / Rejected with reasons). A revised status refresh was also reported around 9 August 2026 — always re-check the live login.

What should I do after the CBT window?

Keep your status screenshot and digialm credentials. Watch official RRB / rrbapply / regional notices for score, shortlist, PET, document verification and medical. Do not invent dates from WhatsApp forwards.

Where do I download the CBT e-call letter again?

Use the Group D digialm candidate login if historical call letters are still served. City slip alone was not valid for hall entry. Reprint availability after the CBT window depends on whether the login still shows past papers.

What is the helpdesk for RRB Group D login issues?

Official notices for this cycle listed candidate helpdesk contacts such as 9592-001-188, 0172-565-3333 and rrb.help@csc.gov.in (timing commonly 10:00 AM–05:00 PM, Monday–Friday). Confirm the numbers printed on the latest RRB notice or portal.
