Why PET/PST Comes Early for CISF Tradesman
Unlike many SSC exams that put a written paper first, CISF Constable Tradesman recruitment traditionally filters candidates physically (and by trade skill) before / around documentation, then moves to the written exam and medicals. Failing Height Bar, PET or PST usually ends the candidature for that cycle.

PST tips
- Get measured in the morning; avoid thick socks/shoes when practicing height checks.
- If declared not qualified in height, many boards allow same-day appeal for re-measurement — listen to the board officer.
- Carry original age / category certificates if you claim relaxation.

PET preparation checklist
- Build weekly long-run endurance well before any expected call.
- Practice on ground similar to force tracks (not only treadmill).
- Hydrate and rest the day before; report in proper sports shoes and attire as listed on the admit card.
- Medical issues (asthma, injury) — get checked early; PET is not usually re-run for soft excuses.
How to Download PET/PST or Trade Test E-Admit Card
When CISF activates the link:
- Visit https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in/.
- Open the Constable (Tradesman) notice for PET/PST or Trade Test e-admit card.
- Click Login / candidate login.
- Enter Registration Number and Password.
- Open Download E-Admit Card.
- Check name, photo, trade, reporting date, time, and venue.
- Download the PDF and print 2 copies on A4.
- Read all instructions on the call letter.
If login fails
- Confirm Caps Lock is off; try the registration ID from the application PDF.
- Use the official forgot user ID / password page on the same portal.
- Keep the mobile and email used at registration active for OTP/SMS.

- Written examination as per the cycle notice.

- Planning travel on an obsolete “August 2026 expected” rumour
- Mixing Tradesman dates with ASI Paramedical PST (14 Sep 2026)
- Waiting for a postal hall ticket (there is none)
- Ignoring trade-specific PET timings

- Paying agents who claim “inside PET dates” or “guaranteed qualify”
