Admit Card Release Status
APSC scheduled the Assistant Engineer (Civil / Mechanical / Chemical) admit card for Advt. No. 31/2025 from 3 August 2026. Soft note: if the link opens on apsc.nic.in Admit Cards / Call Letters or on apscrecruitment.in, download immediately and verify every field. Candidates on the provisionally eligible list (published around 29 July 2026) are the ones who should see a downloadable hall ticket.
Soft note: APSC does not send paper admit cards by post. A phone screenshot alone is usually not enough for entry — carry a printed PDF. Keep a spare printout in case ink fades or the first copy tears during travel.
Candidates who applied but do not appear on the provisionally eligible list should soft note: first read the eligibility / rejection remarks on apscrecruitment.in or the PDF list on apsc.nic.in before assuming a portal glitch. Soft note: downloading another candidate’s or another advertisement’s hall ticket will not help at the gate — invigilators match photo, application ID and Advt. number.

Exam Schedule — 9 August 2026
| Paper | Subject | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Paper I | General Studies | 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon |
| Paper II | Engineering subject (Civil / Mechanical / Chemical as per post) | 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM |
Reporting time and exact centre address are printed only on your individual admit card. Soft note: both papers are on the same day with a lunch break between sessions — plan food and hydration without leaving prohibited items unattended carelessly.
Reach early; late entry is usually not allowed once the hall is sealed for OMR distribution.
City / Centre Intimation
For this APSC screening test, the exam venue city and full centre address appear on the admit card PDF itself. Soft note: APSC may also publish a general centre list or instruction notice on apsc.nic.in — read it, but trust your personal hall ticket for seat and room details.
If you travel from another district, soft note: confirm road / transport options the day before. Do not rely on last-minute centre-change rumours; APSC rarely shifts venues after admit cards are issued except through official corrigenda.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day
- Printed APSC AE admit card (mandatory)
- Original photo ID — any one typically accepted:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Driving Licence
- Passport
- Bank passbook with photograph
- College / employee ID or other government photo ID as allowed on the call letter
- Soft note: carry a photocopy of the same ID if the call letter asks
- Soft note: 1–2 passport photos only if instructed on the PDF
Digital-only admit cards on a phone are often not accepted — carry a printout. Name on ID should match the hall ticket.
Prohibited Items
Soft note: exact rules are printed on your admit card. Typical APSC OMR hall bans include:
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth earphones
- Calculators (unless explicitly allowed for a paper — soft note: engineering screening often disallows personal calculators)
- Books, notes, formula sheets
- Bags and large metal accessories (follow frisking staff)
- Any electronic communication device
Soft note: bring only permitted stationery (black / blue ballpoint as specified). Do not write anything on the admit card except where APSC instructs for signature / left-hand thumb impression boxes.
Exam-Day Instructions
- Reach the centre before reporting time on the hall ticket
- Soft note: for a dual-session day, return on time for Paper II — missing the afternoon paper can void your candidature for that stage
- Follow seating plan and invigilator directions for OMR bubbling
- Check name, roll number, paper stream (Civil / Mech / Chemical) and centre as soon as you download
- Soft note: darken OMR circles fully; avoid stray marks
- Contact APSC before 9 August if any admit-card detail is wrong
- Soft note: keep calm during the break; do not discuss paper content in restricted zones if rules forbid it

| Page not opening | Try another browser, clear cache, or open from apsc.nic.in admit cards archive |

What to Check on the Hall Ticket
Before you leave for the centre, verify:
- Name, photograph and signature specimen
- Application / roll number matching your registration SMS or email
- Advertisement No. 31/2025 and post stream (Civil / Mechanical / Chemical)
- Exam date 9 August 2026 with Paper I and Paper II session times
- Full centre address and any reporting-time note
- Soft note: instructions for OMR medium, left-thumb impression or photo pasting
If the stream on the admit card does not match the post you applied for, soft note: escalate to APSC immediately — writing the wrong Paper II subject can waste an entire session.
Screening Pattern Snapshot (Soft Note)
Soft note: Advt. 31/2025 screening is notified as an OMR-based test with Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (Engineering subject) on the same day. Exact question counts, marks and negative-marking rules appear in the advertisement / scheme notices — do not rely only on coaching-app summaries. Soft note: practise OMR bubbling under timed conditions so you do not leave easy marks unfilled.
Carry only the stationery APSC allows (typically black/blue ballpoint). Soft note: gel pens that blot OMR sheets can cause scanning issues at evaluation.
Selection Path After Screening Test
- Screening test (9 August 2026) — Paper I & II
- Further stages (main / interview / document verification) as per APSC Advt. 31/2025 rules for candidates who clear the screening cut-offs
Always read the original advertisement and any later APSC notices for the full selection scheme. Soft note: clearing screening does not guarantee appointment — it only moves you forward in the notified pipeline.
