Post-Wise Eligibility and Qualification

Required experience

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in managing sales in Wealth Management, Retail Banking or Asset Management Companies.

2. Regional Head (RH)

Educational qualification

  • Graduation from a Government-recognised university or institution.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing with 60% marks.
  • CFP, CFA, NISM V-A, NISM Investment Advisor or NISM 21-A certification.

Required experience

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in relationship management, preferably in wealth management.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a large team of Relationship Managers or Team Leads.

3. Relationship Manager-Team Lead

Educational qualification

  • Graduation from a Government-recognised university or institution.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing with 60% marks.
  • CFP, CFA, NISM V-A, NISM Investment Advisor or NISM 21-A certification.

Required experience

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in relationship management, preferably in wealth management.
  • Experience as a Team Lead is preferred.

4. Investment Specialist (IS)

Educational qualification

One of the following professional qualifications is required:

  • Postgraduate Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science; or
  • CA; or
  • CFA.

Preferred qualifications

  • CA, CFP, CFA, NISM Investment Advisor, Research Analyst Certificate or NISM 21-A certification.

Required experience

  • Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience as an investment advisor, counsellor, officer or part of a product team in Wealth Management Firms or Asset Management Companies.

5. Investment Officer (IO)

Educational qualification

One of the following is required:

  • Postgraduate Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science; or
  • CA; or
  • CFA.

Preferred qualifications

  • CA, CFP, CFA, NISM Investment Advisor, Research Analyst Certificate or NISM 21-A certification.

Required experience

  • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience as an investment advisor, counsellor, officer or part of a product team in Wealth Management Firms or Asset Management Companies.

6. VP Wealth

Educational qualification

  • Graduation from a Government-recognised university or institution.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing with 60% marks.
  • NISM V-A, NISM 21-A, CFP or CFA certification.

Required experience

  • At least 6 years in sales and marketing with leading banks, Wealth Management Firms or Asset Management Companies.

The notification also gives preference to candidates with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager or in a similar role in wealth management.

7. AVP Wealth

Educational qualification

  • Graduation from a Government-recognised university or institution.

Preferred qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Marketing or Banking.
  • NISM V-A, NISM 21-A, CFP or CFA certification.

Required experience

  • Minimum 3 years in sales and marketing with leading banks, Wealth Management Firms or Asset Management Companies.
  • SBI Wealth CRE candidates with 4 years of experience are also mentioned in the notification.

Preference is given to candidates with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager or in a similar Wealth Management role.

Contract Period

Selected candidates will initially be engaged for 5 years.

The contract may be renewed for another 4 years at the Bank’s discretion, subject to the conditions specified by the Bank.

The contract can generally be terminated by either side by giving 2 months’ notice or by payment/surrender of compensation in lieu of the notice period.

Selection Process
