Eligibility (as on 01.08.2026)
Educational qualification
A candidate must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised University / Institution.
The advertisement also lists IC 38 and certain NISM certifications as preferred qualifications; these are not presented as mandatory substitutes for the required graduation qualification.
Experience (mandatory)
This is one of the most important eligibility conditions. Candidates need a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank listed in the Second Schedule of RBI.
- Clerical experience does not count
- Experience of less than 6 months in any organisation (as on 01.08.2026) is not counted, except when it is part of current employment
- Job profile must substantially match Scale-I officer responsibilities at Bank of Baroda — mismatch can lead to rejection at any stage
